Early Summer – Festival Recap
Posted on 21. Jun, 2010 by kinetix in News
It is, in fact, possible to have the most amount of fun all the time. We started our festival run at Bella Vida after a raging show in Fargo. In a lot of ways the Bella crowd feels like our hometown and the energy at the show equaled anything we’ve done all year. An overnight drive straight into the media tent at Summer Camp followed, and after a few roasting hours in the sun we geared up to play what turned out to be a raging late afternoon set. So much props to the hundreds of people who somehow braved that blistering sun to watch us perform. We spent the rest of the night happily soaking in the music at the festival and then packed our trailer for a brief respite in Columbia, MO. Two days later we entered the Wakarusa Festival grounds and set up shop in what turned out to be the greatest camping spot of all time. That is to say, we had shade and nobody else did. Our (not genuine) apologies… Anyways, we spent all four days at the festival, capping it with what turned out to be the surprise Kinetix set of the early summer; 25 people had turned into 600 by the time our set closed with Killing In The Name Of > People Start Hoppin’, and we’re so happy to have discovered the crowds/people of Wakarusa. We’re looking forward to seeing all you festival-goers on the road in the next 12 months.
Look for us on tour come June 26th.

“Let Me In” Release Week Concludes
Posted on 15. May, 2010 by kinetix in News
We’ve had the best week of our young careers and we wanted to extend our thanks to all of our fans. “Let Me In” spent half the week in the iTunes Top 200 Rock Charts, peaking at #47. We rocked with a frenzied sold out crowd at the Bluebird Theatre in Denver, and got a call 10 minutes before showtime that night offering us Red Rocks Amphitheater on June 8th.
In a few weeks we’ll be hitting the road for the early-summer festivals Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Bella Vida, and Forecastle. Throw in Red Rocks and we’ve got an exciting month ahead! Be sure to check out our tour dates and keep spreading the word on “Let Me In”. Here comes the sweet Summertime…
